Μετόχι Βάι - Siteia

A beautiful Oasis, a wonderful Traditional Crete Taverna. As another reviewer said, I hate to tell anybody about this place so it does not become overrun with tourists. The food was delicious (Veal stew) and the atmosphere inside and out was everything you would want. They featured the wines from the local Monastery, that you must try. (Note, they did not have fish on the menu)

Authentic Cretan cuisine in an intimate and warm setting. The owner is very kind and helpful. The wine was excellent, provided by the nearby monastery of Toplou. Good price. Highly recommended.

We popped in for an afternoon drink and light snack and this place is amazing. Good tradition vibe, excellent and wide choice of traditional food. Coffee was good too. Recommended

Really great traditional food, very friendly staff. If you are in the area please stop for some food here, we tried the veal in the pitcher and the pork. Very tasteful and made with local goodies. I would definitely recommend!

One of the best places during our 10 days trip across Creta. The place is calm, the food is delicious. The service is friendly. Some food was so good that we forgot to take pix of it all together lunch for 2 cost 31.5 euro
