Ikogeniakí Tavérna Kouros - Siteia

This restaurant was close to our hotel and this is why we chose it and it was a good choice! We were dining with my wife and our to you children. The restaurant was not full and we ordered plenty of food which was delicious from grilled meat to grilled fish. Our children also enjoyed the kids corner with plenty of toys. The staff was very kind offering us many delicious meals. I do recommend if you are close or further away, it is worth the trip!!

Now this place was a real treat for excellent traditional food and super warm friendly service by all the staff. Food and drinks are exceptionally priced, surprisingly cheap but with no compromise on quality, everything ordered was made and served with love! Family run restaurant this place is definitely family friendly and has an enclosed children’s playground tucked to the side of the restaurant to keep active children safely occupied whilst parents enjoy some respite! Delicious and varied menu, with lots of different dishes to choose from, and many ice cream flavours for dessert. Shared complimentary shots with the owner after the meal which was a really lovely touch! Made to feel very welcome from the start to the finish thank you Taverna Kouros! The restaurant has lots of very cool interesting art pieces on display, hope to see you again very soon, especially at your one of your musical evenings!

My favourite restaurant. Run by the nicest Cretan family who still cook the food themselves. They make their own raki, olive oil, vinegar etc. The atmosphere is always top and they are very generous and seem to love what they do

My favourite restaurant in Crete. The menu is great and the food is always excellent. I have tried many dishes in different restaurants but they always taste better here. The portions are huge, the prices very reasonable and the service is great. My favourites here so far are the lamb in lemon sauce, veal in tomato sauce and the eggplant patties but everything I have tried have been wonderful.

Friendly staff and really good food! Also much vegerarian options. Friday is music night. So lots to offer!
