Rifugio Colverde - Siror

On NYE you cannot expect good deals... however we paid 110 euros each (average downtown was 60) to get the worst food and wine ever, we have been all sick the following day for the terrible wine. Happy to pay for a nice NYE party, but the quality must be adequate!

This is a nice large restaurant/bar at the top of the Col Verde gondola. Great place to stop for food and a drink and the skiing this side, though limited to the 2 main runs down, is excellent. Well worth trips over either before or after skiing elsewhere on the circuit as the bus is empty this way as are the slopes.

Good access by Colverde cable-car Colverde cable car from San Martin d Castrozza. From there we went to the Rossetta or ferrate B. Lugli,to chalet Rosetta G. Pedroti, to Malga Fosse Passo Rolle or Malga Pala. Using next Rosetta cableway we up to 2,700 m and from there went over to Passo di Ball to cottage Pradidali. The Colverde restaurant staff was pleasant and well-deserved refreshment. Beautiful view of the San Martino di Castrozza and the opposite Tognola Alpes. Hike down to San Martino recommend to combine with a visit Malga Pala. Beautiful forest road down is better than a gravel path directly from Colverde.

Mangiato hamburger eccellenti con pancetta e porcini, cannaderli mescolati molto appetitosi. bella posizione, camera spaziosa e confortevole, cena altamente consiglia

Ottimo rifugio alpino con self-service, ampia disponibilità di tavoli sia all'interno che all'esterno. buona la proposta dei piatti tipici per gli sciatori affamati. un plausion per il personale che, pur essendo arrivato in cucina recentemente chiuso, ha reso disponibile per piacere a noi. Grazie.
