Cafe Domus - SIRACUSA

We were only in Siracusa for two nights and saw this charming little place the first night when walking around Ortigya. So on the second night we stopped in for dinner and had such a fantastic meal and fun, we booked for lunch the next day! On the first night, when speaking with the waiter about which pasta he recommended he asked if we had eaten pasta siracusana yet and we said we had. He then proceeded to ask is we had had pasta siracusana from this restaurant, and we said we had not. He then smiled and said he would recommend the pasta siracusana, and indeed it was fantastic! After sharing the pasta, we split two orders of the fried mix fish platers (also excellent beyond imagination) and finished up with coffee. For lunch the next day we each had an appetizer and the portions were excellent and as flavorful as the night before. Simply a great place for a great meal!

Had a very slow paced and relaxed lunch. Very tasty Sicilian food that was full of flavour. Peaceful surrounding that was a break from the crowds. Enjoyed it.

Extremely unfriendly. Aperol Spritz was old Prosecco. Pitty the restaurant itself looks nice. But I expect quality when I pay for it and not old stuff.
