Grille 26 - Sioux Falls

Had a party of 14 here yesterday and the staff was incredibly accommodating to more unexpected people showing up. Gene was our server and he couldn't have been more patient and helpful. Food was great. Salmon cooked perfectly. Great choice!

We had a special event and made a reservation way ahead of time because of the size of our birthday party (19 people). They separated our party into two tables and we waited 15 minutes to order. My brother said his steak was good but my burger was just okay, I didn't even finish it. My brother wasn't at my table because of how our tables were set up so I didn't learn about his meal until later. What's odd is they seem to be able to accommodate large parties because there was another large party about the same size as ours and they were all sitting together. It's too bad the restaurant wasn't able to accommodate us because it ruined the experience.

Good lunch spot! I had the grilled chicken melt. It was a very messy sandwich but tasted great. The fries weren’t as crispy as I would have liked them to be. The feel and atmosphere is “hotel breakfast nook” meets “college campus dining area.” I would eat here again and try something new. Lots of yummy sounding items on the menu.

Service was excellent. No tables available so college and I sat at the bar. Bar tender was spot on and Old Fashion was mixed well. Steak was perfectly cooked but a bit tough for a ribeye. Seasong was excellent. For this price I have had better. But overall a good experience.

Had lunch with a coworker and our boss, and our bosses boss. Waitress got drink orders expeditiously and took our order. I think the waitress was on the ball but for some reason, it took an hour for our food to come out. This was not a big deal for us because we were busy discussing business matters but if that is typical, this would definitely not make for a good lunch break stop. I ordered the chicken risotto. It was slightly congealed on the top, meaning it spent some time under a heat lamp/food warmer. (This is hard to see in my picture but can be noticed at the 6 o’clock position if you zoom in. This did not greatly effect the dish itself, however, as it was still hot and very delicious! Textures were all spot on and flavor was amazing! Not sure what happened with our food taking so long but the food here is definitely worth a try!
