I'd heard a lot of good things about this restaurant. I was happy to be surprised. Just delicious. A rapist.
He lost all his glancing. The shrimp cross that doesn't taste better than a deep freeze, tasteless vitello. A cote à i'os wasn't worth that name. Cook really doesn't know his job. Besides the minimini-mini pot sauce, you don't swallow your ass. French fries: A little bowl for a table of four? There were extra ordered fries when everyone else came. Had dinner a long time. Wine wasn't poured to three kittens. Maitre genre, you can join us. Dinner." Still fat plume for the two girls who walk their feet under their legs because the rest of them don't stick out their legs. We're not coming back here.
We came here with 12 people to eat, and that was just too much. The servant certainly wasn't optimal, very limited, was actually far too little spread over the table prejudices, but the foie grass wasn't good for disaster. Cote à I knew his price, but the cuisson? Shame hijack or saignant, that was all fried. fries with meat and too late bully was tomato soup with fish, and then the lion was. This was the quality of a work restaurant, but not from a restaurant where you pay 90 euros a person.
One of the hippest restaurants in Sint-Martens-Latem is surely “Brasserie Boulevard”. Started more than 2 years ago by two friends (Sam and Thomas) who both worked at “Hof van Cleve”, one of the leading Michelin starred restaurants of Belgium. The interior is a warm and cosy, with a fireplace and open kitchen. In summer time they also have a great terrace in the back. The restaurants serves typical Brasserie-style food but also dishes but with a modern twist. We choose the cod with spinach and “mousseline” sauce as a main course. It was delicious. The sauce was creamy, the cod just fell apart when you touched it with the fork. We followed with the dessert of the week : Pistachio ice cream with cassis. A heavenly combination which surely deserves a spot on the regular desserts menu. Read the review on our blog : http foodiesbible.com
