Przekaż informację zwrotnąWonderful new chef from Italy! I have enjoyed the food here but it is pricey and a lot of the dishes are dated. Tonight, their new, young, chef from Italy made a lobster risotto with a Gorgonzola foam for me that was the stuff of dreams. It was delicious. I had first ordered a salmon dish that was awful- honey balsamic glaze with nothing salty or sharp for balance. It was cloying one note. Also it was served crispy skin side down so it got soggy in the honey. The waitress saw I wasn't eating it and offered something else. I declined but she sent the chef. I explained what was wrong with the dish and I saw he agreed and was happy to talk food with me. His enthusiasm was contagious and he wanted to make one of his dishes for me so, I had to say yes and was THRILLED that I did. The lobster was sweet and perfectly prepared. The risotto creamy the Gorgonzola foam added that perfect something really elevating the dish. I am VERY EXCITED TO SEE THE CHANGES HE IS BRINGING TO THE RESTAURANT- TRULY ELEVATING DINING HERE IN BERKS.
I placed a catering order with last minute notice for a work event. The staff had everything prepared for my pick up. They were extremely pleasant. The food was so fresh and delicious. The sandwiches were probably the best deli sandwiches I've ever had!
We randomly tried this placed and were very happy with the outcome. Our pizzas were yummy and I can't wait to explore the rest of the menus
Dante's has become my new go-to pizza shop for easy takeout nights. I appreciate that the menu has enough options to make a large crew happy- traditional pizzas, wood fired pizzas, hot and cold sandwiches, wings, appetizers. The wings were soggy by the time I got them home which is why I knocked the one star, but the pizza was great and I'll definitely be trying more menu items in the future.
Really gone down hill. Used to be our favorite place. Service has gotten horrible since Chris left. Won't be going back
