Thevar - Singapore

The food is artistically crafted and, interestingly, many dishes hardly resemble traditional Indian cuisine in taste or appearance. The flavors are well-balanced and not overpowering, leaving your stomach at ease without a clash of spices. I particularly loved how the curry paired with the fish and the small bites. The lamb was exceptional! As for service, it was excellent and attentive. I had the chance to try Chef Thevar’s interpretation of one of the dishes from Gaggan's Last Supper menu, and it was outstanding. I hope to see it featured on the menu! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great tasting menu, loved almost every single thing on the menu. Great blend of Indian and European to give you the look and feel of a European French Restaurant, with the smells and taste of India. Would absolutely go back again. The only thing I didn't like was the second pallette cleanser, which was a bit too bitter for my liking. But all else were really fantastic little bites that accumulated to a lovely meal

This is the best Indian fine dining experience I've had in Singapore so far. It far surpasses the other fine dining Indian grill in the area. The tasting menu offers an impressive variety of snacks and dishes, making it well worth the price of $238. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, you shouldn't miss this place! Our favorites were the lamb roti, biryani, and various snacks. I will definitely return!

I went there and ate at the counter, had the chance to discuss with Mr Thevar through the whole dining experience, he was so nice. It was absolutely fantastic, I repeat absolutely fantastic. Services, food, place, just go ahead if you have a chance to offer yourself that kind of moment !

We opted for the 'Chef's Menu,' which is a true gastronomic experience. Here, food is deconstructed, and fusion recipes are crafted that will surprise your palate and add a burst of excitement to dishes you might not expect. The staff is incredibly courteous and friendly, providing prompt and graceful service. The way they blend South Indian flavors with East Asian cuisine is nothing short of fascinating, breathing new life into traditional dishes. The food is heavenly, indulgent, and absolutely delicious!
