Sho Teppan Raffles City - Singapore

I visited for some evening drinks and relaxation. We enjoyed a glass of red wine (Marques de Vargas Rioja Reserva), which was excellent. We also ordered a Halloumi salad to share; it was a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

I booked a brunch reservation through Chope. The restaurant has a spacious layout, but it felt a little warm despite the air conditioning. I ordered an iced mocha, which was delightful. Since I wasn't too hungry, I opted for the eggs with sourdough, while my friend chose the big breakfast. The service was prompt.

I found the lobster mac and cheese and the dip platter to be less impressive, especially the tzatziki, so I think I'll go for the cheese platter next time. For dessert, we chose the flourless chocolate cake, which was a safe and reliable choice. The total bill came to $142 for four people, though I didn't appreciate the $8 charge for water. Nonetheless, I plan to return for future gatherings and would recommend it for a casual meal, although it is somewhat on the expensive side.

The service was excellent. The staff were quick to respond to our requests, even when I asked to have the bread reheated. They served everything with a smile. We just stopped by for drinks and snacks, and I genuinely enjoyed it. The bread was soft and paired perfectly with the deli items. I will definitely return for a proper meal!
