Scotts Beef Noodles - Singapore

Very cool food court with tons of options, mostly Asian cuisine but some western options as well. We went for the duck from Kam's and bubble tea from another shop. The roast duck was very nice.

It has interesting interior design such as the furniture and décor that resembles that of the British colonial period. Most of the food will take you down memory lane. Some of the food is a miss and a hit. The food ain’t going to eat itself so head down to Food Opera today! Although there are many reasons to visit the newly-renovated Food Opera.

Recommended list of food 1. riverside indonesia bbq their sauce super shiok, it has a strong bbq fragrance the perfect balance of sweet and salty, i prefer the chicken over the fish as it’s more tender 2. carrot cake hokkien mee a lot of prawns!! always long queue but it’s worth the wait bc it moves fast also 3. takoyaki a lil pricey but good for ur a quick fix!

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant! I tried the spicy beef noodles, black pepper chicken noodles, and knife-cut beef noodles, and everything was amazing. My favorite dish was definitely the spicy beef brisket noodles!

I was let down by the kaya pastry, though. It would have been much tastier if it were fresher; instead, it had a hard crunch and the filling was just sweet rather than having that rich kaya custard flavor. It's also not inexpensive. However, considering it's located in such a prime area, I can't really complain. Of course, seating can be a challenge, but one has to be willing to wait for a good value in the comfort of air conditioning right in the heart of Orchard Road.
