The place is small, and you might need to queue befire you can get a seat. However, the food was great esp the tantan sauce hence worth the wait. It was also a value for money since they offer a set menu with various dish and of course added with a plate gyoza
What a delightful dining experience! Everything at this diner is excellent. You get to select two small dishes along with one soup for each set meal. Everything was served warm and tasted fantastic. Keep in mind, though, that this is a very small diner with a capacity of only 10-20 people at a time. Diners can watch the chefs prepare the meals right in front of them while they eat. It's quite a popular spot, so there’s often a queue outside. Our total bill came to around $40-50 for two set meals and one Sapporo beer.
Absolutely the best Japanese gyoza in town! We’ve eaten here several times over the years. The Covid period was tough, as they had to reduce seating, leading to wait times of up to an hour. But trust me, the food is worth the wait. Prices are reasonable, and the meals are usually prepared quickly. A tip: ask for a raw egg; it’s complimentary and makes for an excellent dipping sauce for your gyoza and side dishes in sukiyaki style.
The set meals here are delicious, featuring outstanding gyozas. The side dishes were equally tasty, with highlights being the egg, pork belly slices, and prawn mayo. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
