Old Chengdu Sichuan Cuisine - Singapore

Another great Chinese restaurant located smack dab in the middle of China town. Went here during national day weekend, I like this place because they also have inside seating with AC. The food was great and can't beat the prices here in Chinatown. Excellent service, they also have nice uniforms that a more traditional. I wasn't able to enjoy the awesome selection of seafood here because one of our friends has a shellfish allergy.

The deep fried pig intestine and spicy pork ribs were crispy and tasty. The pig ear was nicely gelatinous while the fish was garnished well.

I love this place. It's an all time favourite of mine. Try the diced chilli chicken, chilli oil boiled pork the water cooked fish with sprouts in chilli oil... All favourites of mine. The meat skewers are terrific too..! The service here is very attentive this place is open till very late. If you like Chinese food especially if you enjoy spicy Sichuan Chinese food, then this is the place to visit :

Another great Szechuan cuisine restaurant and very popular at that so you may find yourself in the side place if you don't make reservations. One serious warning: try to go there with Chinese: the first time, I did and I had an excellent experience with an overwhelming choice of tasty dishes spicy, yes, but not too much so. The second time, I went alone and I made all the wrong choices: the French beans were all dente but soooo hot I couldn't eat more than a few!

We had walked Chinatown trying to find somewhere to eat. With 2 fussy kids in tow and 1 allergic to shellfish we were quite picky. We decided to give this place a go and were not dissapointed. The service was fantastic and the food was great! Was very happy. 5 of us all up and the bill was roughly $100. Round of drinks each and we couldn't eat it all. Highly recommend!
