Nando's - Singapore

I had my first experience with Nando’s in Malaysia back in 2018, and I revisited it today here in Singapore. I truly enjoyed my meal, especially the chicken liver – it's a MUST-TRY! The staff were very attentive and friendly, particularly Rich, whose service really enhanced our visit. The whole experience was fantastic! I will definitely be returning. We left the table spotless; it was that good!

Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. The butterfly chicken was quite good, but the salad was a bit disappointing as it was completely dry and lacked any dressing. We arrived around 8 PM and there was quite a long queue outside, so we ended up waiting about 20 minutes for a table.

A lot has changed since my last visit. Here, you pay first before receiving your food. You are seated at a table with a QR code to scan for the menu, which is linked to your table number for efficient service. After selecting your food items, you pay using the available methods (credit or debit card). Your order is then confirmed and sent to the kitchen for preparation. The menu offers a wide selection for meat lovers, but the options for vegetarians are somewhat limited, though there are still enough choices to satisfy. The menu is structured to help navigate the selections easily. We ordered a Veggie Burger with potato wedges on the side and a Portobello Mushroom and Tofu Wrap with special rice. For drinks, we chose lime water, and the waitress provided us with two sauces to enhance our meal. The standout items, in order of preference, were: sauces, potato wedges, lime water, veggie burger, wrap, and rice. Choosing your sauces wisely can really elevate your dining experience. Here's a tip: if you want to enjoy extra wedges or fries, try visiting the restaurant by 9:30 PM, as they often serve complimentary sides for customers still dining. My family and I were warmly welcomed by the staff. My order arrived within minutes! Staff were friendly and rendered excellent customer service. Thank you to Rachel and her team! Definitely will return for more!

Ordered their full chicken (lime and mild). Meat is tender but some parts of the skin is charred though. Both their garlic and hot peri-peri sauce is quite appetizing and appealing taste. It goes well not only with the chicken, but the fries and wedges as well. Their fries and wedges smells and tastes good and is served hot. As for their signature rice which was recommended on their menu, while the taste is more like eating nasi lemak rice (coconut flavored), rice was slightly hard in texture, makes it harder to chew. Service on the hand, they are fast and just average. Nothing more and nothing less. Do expect some crowd and waiting though
