Mr Biryani - Singapore

I was initially a bit skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised. The takeaway packaging was fancy, and the paper bag was of good quality. The portion size was generous; I enjoyed it for both lunch and dinner. The chicken was tender and cooked perfectly, while the rice was fragrant and moist. The masala was just the right amount, adding a subtle flavor. The fresh raita complemented the meal nicely. The only aspect that could use improvement was the curry; I’m not quite sure what it was. It was flavorful, but it didn’t seem to fit with the biryani. Overall, it’s a must-try and very affordable at under $14 for the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani. C’est délicieux!

The biryani here is fantastic, served in a sparkling clean environment. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and we appreciated the complimentary popper they provided when we arrived—it was a lovely gesture, especially when you're really hungry! We sampled both the lamb shank and the chicken biryani, and both were excellent. However, next time we might opt for one biryani and a couple of curries instead, so we can explore more flavors. The portions for the biryani are quite generous!

This is my third visit to this restaurant, which I discovered through a friend. Since my first outing with my wife, they have consistently satisfied our cravings for Indian cuisine. They are generous with their spices, and the dishes are rich and flavorful without being overly seasoned; each ingredient complements the others perfectly. My must-try items are the Lamb Shank, Biryani, and Masala Tea.

The restaurant is on the pricier side, but thankfully, the food was good and the delivery wait time was reasonable. The portion of rice was huge, which is great for sharing; however, it seemed like they simply added plain rice on top of the biryani. The fried cauliflower and butter chicken were both delicious, but the serving sizes were relatively small given the prices. Despite that, I would definitely visit them again.

Great value, especially for the biryani! We ordered the chicken biryani and Goan fish curry to share. The portion of the chicken biryani was enormous; you could easily share two plates among three people. The spices in the biryani were very flavorful, and the taste was fantastic. The chicken pieces were tender and delicious. The Goan fish curry was tasty, but I wish the fish had been fresher; the texture wasn't as good as I hoped. Overall, I found the restaurant a bit cramped for enjoying the ambience. However, the staff were friendly and even helped us pack our leftovers. I would definitely recommend trying the food here!
