Do not by any means try the mushroom stew with polenta. The boletus mushrooms were tasteless, mushy and the tomato sauce acid....And on top of it all, quite pricey. It was Sunday pat lunch time, but the restaurant was full outside. All in all, not an experience to repeat.
You can 't visit Sinaia without trying some traditional food at Cabana Schiori. The food is very tasty and well prepared with a good variety for meat lovers from cabbage rolls stuffed with meat sarmale and the slow-cooked smoked Pork shank with beans. This time we...had a super good tripe soup, mititei, and mushroom stew with polenta A special mention for our waiter Crinu, who is always very friendly and helpful.
Congratulations to Cabana Schiori, for atmosphere, food, quality and staff! Congratulations to Lord Crinu Plesa, who made us feel like at home this time and made us come back with joy every time. The same feeling when we come for the...Holidays and when we come over the year. An ideal choice every time you want a beautiful day! Congratulations and not change! With friendship, a loyal customer, along with his family and friends, Andrei Aurel
Clean, good food, good location if you want forest and air. Service was not so good: waiter did not smile
We came to Cabana Schiori after it was highly recommended by some local friends as having the best Romanian food & papanasi. We came on our first night as a night group of 9 & loved the food, but weren't overly impressed with the service. Come our second night we somewhat reluctantly decided to go back - although we weren't that keen on the service the Bulz & Papansi were truly some of the best we had. This time we were served by Mihaela, who was a riot! She was so thoughtful & attentive to our requests & had us laughing the whole time. The food, again was very fresh & authentic. Would go back for her, and the papanasi anyday!
