Hoops Hops - SIMSBURY

This quirky neighborhood bar is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is lively, with locals enjoying great conversation and cocktails. We discovered two standout dishes here that deserve a spotlight on a popular food show: Opus Bread and Tina's Scotch Egg. They also offer Harp beer on tap, a rare find. The bartender, Angie, is fantastic.

Hoops is possibly the top bar in Connecticut. The food is excellent, the people are wonderful, and they always have the best bartenders on staff. Hayley, Julie, and Lizz consistently provide top-notch service and are incredibly friendly. If you haven't been before, definitely make a point to visit. They offer live music every weekend and there is never a cover charge.

This is a fantastic spot to grab a beer after exploring Granby, attending a concert in Simsbury, or kayaking down the river in Tariffville. It's a popular choice among locals, thanks to its wide variety of beers and delicious food options. The photo features the mouthwatering Whiskey River Wrap. Additionally, the restaurant offers amenities like pool tables, darts, keno, and occasional live music performances.

The bar was very welcoming and I met a lot of fantastic people.

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times and each time the service has been excellent. I have enjoyed everything I have tried from the menu. My favorite dish so far is the black magic pasta!
