Sidewall Pizza Company - Simpsonville

1. Our server Liz was outstanding. 2. My girlfriend absolutely loved the Smokey Salad she ordered. 3. The breadsticks were amazing and quite large, so even the "small portion" was more than enough. 4. We had a half-and-half pizza that was fantastic: Roasted Mushrooms and Spicy Italian on a garlic sauce base. Pizza is my favorite food, and I've tried it in many places (multiple boroughs of NY, Chicago, LA, NJ, Philly, and even in Europe), but this was some of the best pizza and breadsticks I've ever had. It was a delightful surprise, especially since my friend and his wife recommended it knowing my love for pizza. A big shoutout to Chef Sophia—she truly excels at her craft! We’re definitely planning to come back on Sunday before heading home!

However, the service could use some improvement. It took a bit longer than expected to order and receive our pizza. Our waitress passed by us several times before finally refilling our drinks, and we noticed that other groups who arrived after us received their orders before we did, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s still worth a visit, but be prepared for a longer wait time. Don’t miss the breadsticks—they’re delicious, especially when dipped in their rich red sauce!

My husband recently found out he’s gluten-sensitive, and he decided to try the Margherita pizza with a gluten-free crust. It was far superior to any other gluten-free crusts we've tasted. It had the thickness of a hand-tossed pizza and was buttery and delicious. I opted for the pear salad, which consists of spinach, maple cinnamon candied walnuts, craisins, red onion, blue cheese crumbles, fig balsamic vinaigrette, and red pears. (I’m drooling just thinking about it!) The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it was just what I needed after a morning of working in the yard. The service was excellent, and I love that it’s located in downtown Simpsonville. The atmosphere is great! I highly recommend giving it a try!

We also ordered three Wedge Salads and one Apple Salad, all of which were very good. For our main courses, we tried the Margherita pizza and the Meatball pizza, both of which were amazing and did not disappoint. We capped off our meal with the best dessert: we sampled both specialty ice creams, Butterbeer and Vegan Chocolate Cake. I can honestly say we’ve never had ice cream as delicious as these, crafted by the incredible pastry chefs at Sidewall in Travelers Rest. I urge everyone to run—don’t walk—to Sidewall in Simpsonville! Melissa has an amazing and friendly staff who make you feel welcome, and she personally thanks each table for choosing Sideway. It was a wonderful experience!

During my recent visit to Greenville (Simpsonville), South Carolina, I had the delightful surprise of experiencing some of the world's best pizza. To start, the Twisted Breadsticks were enormous and the dipping sauce was fantastic! The small House salads were equally impressive. However, the highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Thin Crust Pepperoni Pizza, which had the thinnest and crispiest crust I've ever tasted! To top it all off, we received excellent service from Katie B! Highly recommend!
