Foo Du - Silverdale

Was closed even though google maps said it is open. Went for nothing.

Disgraceful! As a vegetarian, I politely asked if they share the pan with meat based dumplings. The response was rude and in Cantonese, which sadly I don’t speak. After asking what the staff said, is that they wash the pan after use. I observed the cook splashing some water over pan. So not clean and definitely with meat juices .(gross) After complaining to manager, he apologised and admitted fault, then patronising explaining to me that I had special dietary requirements.. So first and last time I eat there. I made a confident and positive decision not to eat meat products, which this company cannot assist with.

Delicious juicy dumplings! Authentic. Well worth the wait.

From a dumplings fan in general, those things were fire! I got the pork and chives steamed dumplings.

Visited once and this may be the last time I visit this place. Complicated menu. The staff were unable to explain the menu. 3 star was only for food. They obviosly don't know how to do business.
