For the main course, they prepared a Moroccan stew that was divine and included nuts and apricots. We decided to skip the couscous and go straight for the phenomenal chips instead. I couldn't fit in dessert, but the rest of the group went for a selection of sorbets, which they enjoyed immensely. This has now become our go-to place to bring visitors, and I highly recommend it! After a long walk, we stumbled upon this hotel, and it was truly a hidden gem. We enjoyed the homemade pie, which was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back! Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Excellent value
I went out for lunch with my father, and the staff were very friendly. Although the menu had limited options, I ordered the veggie chili with a side of large, delicious chips. The cozy pub atmosphere was perfect for a cold, rainy day in the lakes! I would definitely come back.
We spent one night at Hotel Silverdale and had a great dining experience. There were plenty of options for dinner, and we decided on the burger and the falafel with hummus flatbread. Both dishes were served with crispy chips and mayo, and they were delicious. Breakfast was included with our stay, and we enjoyed vegan sausages, beans, hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast (with vegan spread), and tea with milk. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
A quaint yet charming B&B located along the Arnside promenade. Situated by the estuary of the River Kennet (if I'm recalling the name correctly), this spot is frequented by dog walkers...
