The menu featured a delightful selection of both traditional and innovative El Salvadoran dishes. I tried the carne asada one day and huevos rancheros another time for breakfast while getting my tires replaced nearby. The attentive staff and exceptional service further enhanced my overall experience. This is a fantastic little spot with reasonable prices and amazing Latin cuisine.
Let me tell you, my expectations were more than exceeded. My son is adamant that we should make this our regular spot. I had never tried corn tamales before, but now I can't stop thinking about them. They were amazing, especially when paired with the rice and beans. The pupusa was tasty, but the corn tamale stole the show. The chicken quesadilla was also fantastic; the chicken was delicious. Combining the corn tamale with the chicken quesadilla, rice and beans, and plantains made for the perfect meal. The plantains seemed to be boiled first and then seared. I can't wait to go back!
The only dish I've enjoyed so far is the Plato Tipico. Aside from that, the food hasn't been impressive. I've also noticed inconsistencies in the pricing of this breakfast plate. It would be beneficial for the owner to take some lessons in politeness.
This is hands down the best pork chop I have ever had. The sauce is incredible, and the pork chop is incredibly tender. Their green jalapeño sauce has the perfect level of spiciness and pairs wonderfully with the rice and beans. I have loved everything I’ve tried here, and my friend can’t get enough of the homemade pupusas—they are absolutely perfect. This place truly excels in Latin American cuisine.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is authentic and affordably priced, and the staff is friendly. I make an effort to eat there once a week. As a white guy from the suburbs, I may not be an expert, but I appreciate good food. One day, I brought a group of fellow school bus drivers, who come from various Latin American countries, for lunch. They really enjoyed the food and were pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive their meals were.
