Lemon Slice Cafe - Silver Spring

This place is a little gem in downtown SS. Really great tasting sandwiches and soups. Perfect for a quick lunch and very affordable. The owner is awesome too and her passion for cooking really comes through in the details of the food. Highly recommend.

Lemon Slice was everything I didnt know I needed. We had sandwiches (kitfo and awaze tibs, both on cibatta), home fries, a coffee cake muffin and some very refreshing in-house made ginger and turmeric lemonade (sweet/unsweetened options). I was having a rough morning and this lovely cafe owner filled our stomachs with delicious food and lifted my spirits with fantastic conversation. Came to lemon slice cafe in the morning: ???? Breakfast Tacos were really great! Came with sausage, egg cheese and a semi-spicy how sauce! Totally would have this again ???? We also had a breakfast croissant with turkey and egg. This was not so good!! The sausage was so small compared to the rest of the sandwich!! Not very great and this deteriorated from the experience. The wait staff was very nice and the ordering was just okay.

Great place! I stopped here on a whim with my Dad and sister. We got the breakfast sandwiches and omelette, respectively. Everyone working there was very welcoming and nice, and the food was so good! Would recommend trying the homemade hot sauces

Nice little cafe for a quick breakfast or lunch. Their lemon cake is so good I recommend 100% it doesn?t taste too sweet or lemony so that?s a plus for me. I got the turkey club sandwich.
