Crisp Juicy - Silver Spring

**Crispy and Juicy Experience** **When:** Lunch **Order:** 1/2 Charbroiled Chicken, Fried Yuca, Black Beans, Rice I’ve dined at several spots in Maryland and Virginia that are known for their crispy and juicy offerings, but these places have quickly become my favorite for Tangan chicken. The food is consistently delicious and fresh. **Comments:** I was in and out within 10 minutes, and I really appreciated how fresh everything tasted. The sides are excellent too! I might have to keep a notebook handy in my lunch rolodex for future visits.

We have been regular customers at this restaurant for years, and it used to be our favorite spot. However, over the past year, I've noticed a decline in quality. During my recent visits, the meals have been consistently dry, overcooked, and stale. I understand that off days happen, but this has become a recurring issue. It seems they are serving chicken that has been sitting out rather than freshly cooked. Unfortunately, the quality has diminished significantly, and I can no longer recommend it. On a positive note, their sauce is still quite good, but overall, I am very disappointed.

I had high hopes for this restaurant based on my previous experiences at similar places, but I was sorely disappointed. The establishment was not clean—there were crumbs on the floor and the tables were also dirty. The cashier was unfriendly, which made the experience even less enjoyable. When I got home to eat my meal, I discovered that the chicken was overcooked, the fries were greasy, and I received only four sauces for a meal intended for a family. I won’t be returning to this place again.

The flavor is good but it's certainly far from juicy. The chicken was super dry and overcooked. Thank goodness they had plenty of sauces otherwise it would have been inedible. Maybe they were just having an off day or maybe dinner is better
