Eating is still quite good, the part has become smaller. the atmosphere is great. the waitress is a bit more intense, I feel a little nervous. in general good

Good old traditional food, cooked like your grandmother did (if she was good at cooking). Nice relaxed ambience, pleasant and competent service.

This includes a delicious coffee, a main dish of your choice, and sometimes a dessert. There are usually 4-5 daily options available, including dishes with fish, meat, vegan options, and soup.

I asked my hotel for recommendations for a good seafood restaurant and Salve was one of the suggestions, based on positive reviews on TripAdvisor. Knowing that Helsinki restaurants can be busy, especially on weekends, I made a reservation. Upon arrival, I was seated promptly and the service was quick despite the bustling atmosphere. I asked for recommendations and chose a small fish platter with rye bread garlic sticks as a starter. For the main course, I ordered a large serving of fried herring. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Although tempted by the dessert menu, I decided to skip it this time. Salve has a decent wine selection that pairs well with their dishes. The staff was helpful and attentive, making my dining experience enjoyable. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes and a good selection of wines. The service is friendly but lacking attention to detail. Wine was served without showing the bottle, there were flies in the room, and no towels were provided. Prices are on the higher side considering the location and level of service.
