Pranzo perfetto, paccheri al polpo devastanti ed insalata mista con mozzarella molto abbondante. Consiglio il pasto se vi trovate in zona.

We had enjoyable meals on each of the two occasions we ate here for dinner. Menu comprised mainly typical Tuscan dishes with some specials. One of these specials was an entree pasta dish with tomato and large new season garlic. The chef came out to show us the garlic and to advise how he would cook this dish. When my wife advised that she preferred not to eat wheat he immediately advised that he could make the dish with rice in lieu of pasta. Done and the dish was thoroughly enjoyed. Apart from the rice with tomato and garlic we also had as entrees the beef tartare with burrata and the pappardelle with ragu. As mains we both had the tagliata with a side of potatoes. All of these dishes were very tasty and reasonably priced. The entrees were Euro 10-00 to Euro 13-00, the tagliata Euro 17-00 and the potatoes Euro 4-50. Wine list was not large but offered a reasonable selection of, particularly, Tuscan wines. Service was friendly, accommodating and efficient. We will dine here again when in Siena.
