At first glance, it looked charming enough. But looks can be deceiving. We didn't make dinner reservations for the evening of our arrival in Siena a busy Saturday in September. Everywhere we called was fully booked. Except this restaurant. That in itself should have been big red flag. The weather was unseasonably warm, so an outdoor terrace seems like a great idea. In fact the ambiance is quite charming. But the food... oh my! The menu is very simple and contains Tuscan classics. It was presented to us on a grimy sheet of paper. No more than a handful of dishes. And rather overpriced as others have noted. We had the Bruchetta, Tagliatelle alla cinghiale, and veal piccatta. The food was horrible. So was the service. And the bill was as bad as the rest. Disappointing.
Little gem that no one seems to know about? Cacio e Pepe was fabulous…. Nice wine and caprese too….. great atmosphere….check it out…..
We had a nice dinner, friendly service and high quality food!
Worst coffee of Italy and very overpriced. The staff is extremely rude. Please avoid this at all cost!
Ruhige Ecke, um gutes Essen zu genießen. sehr freundlicher Service. Ich war öfter da.
