Café Berta - Siena

We approached the restaurant because at that moment there was a gentleman who was playing live with his guitar. We saw the menu and were convinced to enter. We ordered a Tuscan appetizer and some pappardelle with Cinta ragù fa-vo-lo-se! The food was beyond our expectations. The starter is plentiful and of good quality. The pappardelle were fresh and the sauce very tasty and apparently simple (making such a tasty white sauce is not so obvious). The waiter was very kind and attentive to our needs. Dinner exceeded our expectations — a wonderful Italian meal. Also one of the few places open for an early (i.e., pre-19:30) dinner. We were grateful for that as well as its proximity to the train station. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
