Steakhaus El Rancho - Siegen

This was the first restaurant we visited during our 16 day visit to Germany and though we are from Texas and expecting our host and hostess to take us to a German restaurant, we were very pleased they opted instead for their favorite restaurant in Siegen, El Rancho. The Texas decor made us feel at home. The salad bar had a wide variety of fresh items, the small filet was huge, so juicy and tender, and the wine wonderful! A very scrumptious meal for 2 weary and starving travelers just off an international flight.

Good ambient and excellent food.You would be hard pushed to find a better steak in the area. The service is friendly and prompt. I particularly enjoyed the draught Kellerbier.

Very delicious steak and I say go definitely with the house wine from chile salad was perfect and good service of course.

Good quality, but quite expensive... We enjoy the dinner on the terrasse with a glass of wine. All side dishes must be ordered...

A great steakhouse. nice atmousphear fast and good service cool beer and fresch coffee and we did get a free schnaps.
