Royal Aroma - Sidney

Royal Aroma is amazing. A little gem of a restaurant in Sidney. We have eaten takeout and have dined in and have never had a bad meal. It is the best Indian cuisine we have ever had. The service is also very nice! I highly recommend!

On my official trip to Sidney I came across this restaurant. It was indeed a pleasant surprise, the owner and server were super nice and welcoming. I had Chicken Thali, it was amazingly delicious. The service was prompt and server Arsh regularly checked our table.

We had an outstanding lunch at Royal Aroma! After visiting numerous Indian restaurants over the years, we can confidently say that the food here is the best we’ve ever tasted. Our dishes were expertly prepared, and the curries boasted subtle yet complex layers of flavor and texture. Everything was served hot, the tableware was lovely, and the service was both courteous and attentive. We highly recommend this place!

We were excited to visit this charming restaurant after hearing a positive recommendation. The food was exquisite, and the server, who is also the owner, was incredibly friendly and efficient. Since we live on one of the Gulf Islands and often take the ferry to Sidney, we enjoyed our meal so much that we plan to make Royal Aroma a regular destination.

Absolutely delicious! We visited on a Saturday and tried the chicken samosas and coconut lamb curry. While the samosas were tasty, the curry stole the show. The portions were on the smaller side; I would have appreciated a bit more rice, which was also a bit dry. It seems there are no longer any lunch specials available (someone mentioned they used to be like bento boxes and included dessert), but overall, the pricing was reasonable.
