Pelicanos Cafe and Bakery - Sidney

I come here for the Eggs Benedict with salmon, and a freshly baked bagel with poppy seeds. Fresh and yummy! Their baked desserts are good too. Other things have been a bit hit and miss, e.g. their “fresh juice” which is a blend of frozen fruit and juice from the supermarket. The service is often by young people who can barely speak English and don’t really know what they are doing. Overall though it is a nice little spot for a quick bite in the city for a person or two.

The atmosphere of a small shop in a big city is terrific. Bagel is good but coffee is just so so. The experience of passing a narrow lane to the small cafe for breakfast is excellent.

Fantastic little cafe tucked down an alley. We ordered the Abercrombie Platter and it was amazing. I especially loved the tomato relish. We’ll definitely be back! They accept eftpos/credit cards.

Abercrombie lane cafe is a fantastic brunch spot that embodies the unique cafe culture of Melbourne. They make their own delicious bread, serve great coffee, and offer a must-try dish - the Slow-Cooked Pork Belly Kimchi Sandwich. This cafe meets all of my criteria for a perfect dining experience.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while on my way to somewhere else. Despite my initial hesitation, I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. The interior is cozy and inviting, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is top-notch. The Eggs Benedict they offer is unique, with a deconstructed presentation featuring tomato, leafy greens, and your choice of bread. I highly recommend this place.
