The Perch Kitchen And Tap - side

The Perch has a great patio in front, but an even nicer garden area to the side of the restaurant. It’s a great spot for drinks or brunch, and is incredibly dog-friendly. They have a dog menu with $3—5 bowls of chicken with grains or other things. The dog would obviously give this place 5 stars, but I do too!

Went on a day date here and it was nice and relaxing. Staff were great. Great music and the drinks were good. Will return.

In the top 5 best meals I've ever eaten in Chicago. The Salmon and smokey asparagus with grilled lemon and Green Goddess dressing was so fresh and delicious! I ordered the strip steak salad. The salad had warm fried potatoes and mushrooms in it, and was an explosion of flavors with each bite. How unique! The NY strip was cooked to perfection and you could cut it with a butter knife it was so tender. Our server Nick was Five stars as well! And the Purple Rain cocktail was delicious!

Lots of patio space, as well as indie space near garage door-style windows that's as good as outside. Beer menu was updated with what they were out of. Got the deviled eggs, grilled artichoke, ribs, and banana creme pie (not all by myself). Everything was great, ribs were falling off the bone, drinks were tasty, service was quick. My favorite thing might have been that kids meals are free from 4-6pm with a paid adult entree.
