South Loop — Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

Have a Lou Malnati's many times but this downtown location is really tasty. Minestrone soup was the best I have ever had. Good calamari and of course the butter crust pizza with the garlic spinach was as great as ever.

I used to eat Lou Malnati's every friday night, it's my go to pizza in Chicago. I haven't ordered in about a month. Tonight I ordered delivery, which was estimated at 6:40pm. I didn't get my order until 7:05pm, which was cold. My pizza didn't have much flavor, as if there was no salt in the sauce or dough. I'm not sure if it was an off night, or if the recipe has changed? I hope it was an off night, bc this used to be my favorite Chicago pizza.

Deep dish pizza was not good. Place was small. Gets crowed fast in minutes.

Delicious deep dish pizza, friendly service, and a no frills dining room.

It was amazing. The waitress was friendly, kind and explainig everything. The food was really great!
