Smoque Steak - side

Solid all around. Good food, even better service, and a roomy atmosphere for a non-claustrophobic time.

Took my husband for his birthday and what a disappointment. There were 11 family members. The steak and the fries had to much salt. Some prices are too high for what it's offered. Don't bring a cake, you will be charge $3.00 per person to cut it and serve.

Ordered a medium rare bone in ribeye. Something strange about the taste and texture I could have confused it with a pork chop. The appetizers were unimaginative. And back to the the steak . . . For a steak place I should be able to order medium rare but it was practically well done. The server told me that was as close as the they could get it. A bone in medium rare ribeye essentially served as a well done pork chop. Not coming back plenty of better competition.

Great food and service, and the price wasn't too bad for this caliber of restaurant. Will be back.

I had a wonderful time at the Smoque Steak wine bar. I came in for happy hour for the delicious dirty martini and then followed it with the wine crostini special. For my dinner,I ordered the lobster grits that I had been craving after reviewing their menu, and the refreshing caesar salad and perfectly cooked and seasoned broccolini. As a non-steak-eater, I was overwhelmed with delicious options and happily full with my array of choices. I will be back to try more seafood, chicken and sides!
