Shaw's Crab House - side

Came for thanksgiving and then again a few nights ago! The sushi is great! Brussels sprouts yum! The raspberry pie is delicious!

I dined in this restaurant last night while on a weekend trip to Chicago. The food was awful, crab legs cold and overcooked. Steak was terrible, no flavor and overcooked as well. Our server was very nice and attentive. But the food itself was poor quality, cold, overcooked, and not worth what was paid. I was extremely disappointed in what should have been a wonderful fine dining experience.

Amazing Drove to Chicago w/my daughters to thank them for helping me at Our Cafe this Christmas. Time together is well over due! So I really wanted to treat them to an amazing dinner in Chicago. I chose SHAWS. Because I’ve had gone here numerous of times years ago loved it!! ️My daughter loves crab legs my other steak. Well I can’t begin to say what an excellent choice!! First time here tonight! The food is incredible, including the in-house made dessert. Brittany was our server tonight! She is so sweet, attentive, and helpful. She really elevated our dining experience. We will be back!!

Our first visit and it won't be our last. The crab cake, burrata, lobster bisque, stone crab claws, grilled Costa Rican Mahi and au gratin potatoes were all amazing. We didn't love dessert but next time we will try something different.
