Northside Grill

Very chill on a winter weekday morning. Had the Denver omelette, toast, fruit, coffee, the works. It's hard to find a diner where you can sit and listen to the pans clanking while someone makes eggs, surrounded by aloe and steamy windows. Total breakfast paradise.

We love the biscuits and gravy at Northside Grill. Classic! Also their omelets are terrific. Whenever we feel like splurging and having a hearty breakfast before heading out and providing handyman services through the Old Irving Park or Albany Park neighborhood, this is our favorite spot. Lunch is delicious here too!

This is your typical good food diner. Nothing fancy or special about it but it tastes good and fills you up. The steak in the steak and eggs comes as a patty rather than actual steak meat. Its still tasty but i have no idea how much of it is steak meat and how much of what else is in it. Everything else is pretty standard. We have tons of breakfast places in Chicago and most all of them are decent. The food is good. What else can I say?

Good was good and service was good. Nothing amazing but good

Old diner experience but with modern price. Nice service. Great coffee. Pancakes didn't come out as tasty as hoped.
