Mom's Place — A Chicago Gathering Spot

Fun spot with strong drinks. Actually made up of three separate rooms/bars. Worth the time to check it out.

Went to Mom’s last night for the first time and I had a lot of fun and they had great live music! The reason for the 1 star is that I was kicked out for being rude to the bartender(which I was) simply due to the fact that she was VERY rude to me right off the bat. Maybe she was having a bad night, but she immediately called the bouncer over and that led to me being asked to leave. The karaoke host is more interested in hearing her own voice than anyone else’s. So if you would like to sing you might be able to but chances are you will have to stomach her horrible singing/rapping a couple times before she might let you sing, if she doesn’t take up all the slots.

The bouncer is extremely rude. He pushed my friend when she accidently and gave her a couple of dollars short. After telling him it was a mistake and we would appreciate him to be civil, he told us he told that our whole group need to leave.
