Our only real experience with French dining. My wife and I have been here twice, each time for our anniversary. Both times were excellent experiences. Great service with attentive staff and delicious food. Wife and I highly recommend the lobster bisque and mushroom risotto! If you need an easy way into French dining this is the place.

Poor food quality- mussels and clams were grainy or not washed properly; and the food was under seasoned.

Marchesa was delightful. I would term it a high-end bistro. They have a number of French standards. I appreciated that they did not put flavors together just for the sake of offering something novel. This place is amazing. It's located in a beautiful building on Wells. The interior design is funky, but warm. The service is fantastic at every step. Most importantly, every thing I've eaten there has been amazing. My favorite is the classic beef bourguignon. And check out their incredible take on burrata.
