Kabobi — Persian And Mediterranean Grill

Great food and atmosphere! Yunis was our server and he was amazing!

Our only Persian food experience in Chicago. As a Persian, my expectations are higher from a Persian restaurant and especially from kabobs. We ordered lamb soltani, kabob chengeh, gheymeh, kashke badenjan, zaytoon parvardeh, and saffron ice cream. Except the zaytoon parvardeh which was good, the other dishes were only okay to us.

I’ve been here so many times and I’ve never written a review. It’s always amazing! I always get their chicken and lamb koubideh. Absolutely amazing! The best grilled meat. The rice is delicious. Their hot sauce is amazing. I tried their hummus very good. Today I tried their saffron ice cream, just amazing! The owner is always there. He makes sure everyone is taken care of. Love the food and atmosphere. This will always be my favorite restaurant.

I called to order the family package #1..l asked for a type of meat that apparently was not one of the choices available.The employee who was taking my order asked me to go back to the menu, in a kind of a rude way, instead of just telling me what kinds of meat l can choose from. Certainly an unpleasant pick up experience.

It’s a wonderful place, food was fantastic, after long time eat such a Kabab, just need to fix a little bit on its management.
