I bought a Rosca de reyes, it was delicious soft, and with fruit.
Been here a few times. Sweet bread is good. It always looks and tastes fresh. I like the size of the pieces. They are bigger than Gallos Bakery and they 're priced the same. I can 't speak too highly of the woman who 's usually ringing up at the counter. I 'm not sure if she 's the owner but every time I 've gone, she always appears unpleasant, snobby/stuck up. Went in there today with my mom and son in a stroller. We greeted her, paid for our bread and she gave us 3 brown paper bags. She has her plastic grocery bags next to the register so I asked her if I can have one to put the 3 brown paper bags in it and she turned around and didn 't say a word just handed me the bag. I was like okaaaay I thought that was rude. Like it bothered that I asked to have a plastic bag. She could have offered us one knowing she was giving us 3 brown paper bags and if it cost extra, we would have paid it without a problem. I don 't know I guess she lacks courtesy. Which is something all small business owners should have. Creating relationships with clients especially in the neighborhood should be important for their business.
Hidden gem of the neighborhood. Great bakery, for everything tasty and fresh :
Great little Mexican bakery. I always buy mi conchas there. Family atmosphere
