Homeslice - side

Solid spot close to campus for DePaul students, nothing special about the food but the Vibes are nice.

Very disappointing. Got a meatball calzone. Light on the meatballs, soggy crust and buried under a carpet of jalapenos. Maybe the pizza is great — I didn't try it — but what I got would not encourage me to go back.

I have tried Happy Camper, Paradise Park and now Homeslice. Homeslice had really nice decor, but their menu options were not as large as Happy Camper. The pizza was decent and service was quick.

I have celiac and am highly sensitive to cross contamination. I ate here twice during my visit to Chicago and I had no issues whatsoever. First night I had a gf deep dish pizza and chips and guacamole. The second time I had a gf deep dish pizza and potato skins. Food was delicious and the boxes were labeled with a gluten-free sticker. Would def eat here again.

Cool vibe and friendly staff but the pizzas were average at best.
