Beggars Pizza Merrionette Park - side

Great little neighborhood pizza place a part of a chain. The pizza here is excellent. The service great. The atmosphere is great. You can't go wrong getting pizza here

Beggars is a Chicago staple and yes they really do lay it on thick. It's arguably my favorite pizza on the Southside of Chicago. Can't go wrong with Chicago-style thin crust or deep dish.

Here’s a review for you, how about I’m never coming here again. For starters, the prices are a little high. Next up, in terms of this location it’s a little small and feels cramped, especially waiting for a to go order. Lastly, not one person in here wearing gloves. At least act like y’all care! I should become a health inspector and simultaneously open my own restaurant. The guy cutting my pizza had no gloves too and got the nerve to lift my pizza with his bare hands to get a good cut. Turned around and served me the pizza like I didn’t see. Unfortunately, a lot of restaurants don’t care anymore and I was desperate. I didn’t eat the whole thing, but I’m truly horrified by the experience enough to document. No need to put hands in the food, literally for no reason. Some places have it a lot worse, but come on y’all it should not be the standard! My complaints are valid I don’t care what no one thinks.

I was with my adorable BF and we got 5 slices and they were mega delicious and very filling, I'll certainly be coming back for more eventually.
