Tropico Scuba Diving Resort - Sibulan

My wife and friends and I had a grea time at Tropico yesterday. I am an American who lives and works in Dumaguete and I came out for the day. Rich, the owner, was very friendly as was his staff. The rooms were clean, the food was delicious and the beers were ice cold! Thek resort has a nice view of Cebu island and the water is very clear. We talked at length about scuba diving and Rich now has me convinced to start learning how to dive. He has a great boat and says he less than a 15 minute ride from some great coral. Just a few minutes more and we can be diving the Sumilon island sandbar. He said another for another great dive we could swim with the whales! I am very impressed and will most definitely be back very soon!

Super place! The atmosphere was more than amazing like family ! Peaceful and very quiet place. As a dive instructor I want to say that Richard and Ron are super professionals They will take care of you personally . Also in tropico they have high quality equipment and they offer a lot of different dive sites . The best place to learn diving !!! Thanks you all tropico

I just stayed at Tropico for the third time. I was really impressed with the resort and the diving. It is a small quiet resort with a pirate theme about 15 minutes outside of town. The resort has 4 very comfortable rooms and a nice bar and restaurant, fish and chips, and an awesome chef salad for lunch. Fresh fruit shakes, (Mango). Rich and Mabel went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. I dove with both Rich and Ron, had some awesome dives. Even when we had what was a strong current, we went in for a great drift dive. The guys do great fun dives and have a PADI SCUBA school , meaning they are really particular about turning out great safe divers. I will recommend my friends to stay and dive here.

Very nice place! Richard is a great instructor from beginning to end .They make you feel at home and like one of the family.The boat is awesome and many great diving spots and just located only 15 min from Dumaguete with bus at the front door.Hope to be there again soon.
