Weinkeller - Sibiu

We loved our dinner at weinkeller. the location is beautiful, the room is very intimate and cozy, and eating exceeded our expectations. the portion was also very friendly and relaxed, we loved the whole atmosphere. we want to come back in summer and enjoy the terrace!

The menu is rich in extremely tasty and delicately spicy, most of them resemble the Romanesque tradition. the wine cellar is very inspiring for pastness and also urges them to taste a good wine. lost in the menu? no problem, the...friendly waiters are there to recommend what to drink best their preferences.

This îs a very nice spot near the cathedral and Little Square. It is a hidden nook down the stairs in an outdoor little garden where tables are under a vine. They also have an indoor restaurant but the most poetic spots are outdoors. You need to reserve in advance and be punctual since they don't have many tables outdoors. Only 6. They have a good variety of wines. The food is good but not for vegetarians unless you order polenta. Try the pepper, and/or the mushroom cream soup. Also the chicken and vegetable crepe. The meat dishes are also advisable.

We entered in this place at 21:30 while the restaurant is supposed to be opened until 24:00 and we were roudly told "We don't accept anybody anymore... " We asked to have at least one drink and we were simply ignored and kicked out... while there were still enough tables available.
