Whittington's Quality Fish And Chips

I had a kids party catering for almost 30, between kids and parents, I ordered the night before and asked if possible I could have the rather large order as soon as they opened, 12.00 on the dot I went in had 10 large chips, 20 sausages and 10 fish cakes all ready, food was quality service was quality, thank you!

My twin sister is lucky to live very close to this fabulous fish and chip shop, she's only across the road from it so it's easily accessible. The fish and chips here are amazing and the ‘mini’ option for less than £4 is a massive portion, delicious and amazing value. Every weekend I'm down we have a takeaway and it's always good and very tasty! As a massive foodie, I am never disappointed. The queue is always long when I go over there (which is always a good sign and people travel for miles to use this service . The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome, it's fair to say the staff become friends for life, I've never met a more nicer bunch of people. The service is quick and efficient so the queue goes down quickly. There is plenty to choose from off the menu it includes everything a chippy should sell (kebabs, burgers, pizzas, pasties, pickled eggs, pickled onions, scallops, fritters, etc. and I can honestly say hand on heart that everything I’ve ever ordered from the menu has been fabulous! (And over the years I've tried all sorts kebab in naan, kebab in pitta, kebab meat and chips in a tray, sausage and chips, battered sausage and chips, veggie burger and chips, chicken burger and chips, chicken breast and chips, fish and chips, fish cake and chips and the occasional pizza and I can honestly say I've never been disappointed. Also the children's meals are a lovely size and whenever my grand nephews have been served with me they've always received a lollipop, which is a nice touch too. The prices are also very good and reasonable too. I am always a very happy customer and have used this chippy for many many years. I would highly recommend this chippy to anyone. I have been using whitting chippie for many years. just lately the quality of ther fish chips have been very very poor.could some one explaine what is happening there. thanks

I have been using the chip shop for 4 years now. The offers they provide are fantastic and the taste of the pizzas, chips, pies and fish are the best I have tasted. I use to visit chip shops in Oswestry but now I drive out of my way to get food from Whittington. I am always welcomed with a smile and treated like with warm kindness. Give them a try if you haven't already done so... I promise you will never pick anywhere else again.

The customer service at this restaurant is excellent, the food is amazing, and the establishment is very clean. I have visited a few times and the food has always been very good.
