Thyme Shrewsbury Town Centre

I stayed at the Premier Inn and decided to dine at this restaurant because of the meal deal offered. The staff were friendly and I appreciated the table service. I ordered fish and chips without peas, followed by Cadbury nibbles ice-cream. I have had these dishes at other Premier Inns before and wanted to compare. The fish and chips initially came with peas, but the waitress quickly took them back to the kitchen and rectified the mistake. The chips were crispy and delicious, just how I like them. However, I had to wait a long time for my food, so when the fish finally arrived, it was overcooked and burnt. It was so hard, I could literally pick it up and it felt as stiff as an old sock that had just come off the radiator.

I stayed at the Premier Inn and found the breakfast to be very enjoyable, with fresh options and a lot of variety to choose from. The staff were doing an excellent job despite the circumstances. Well done to all!

Good food friendly fast service. In all fairness once the staff found out we were staying for a show in the Theatre they had our food prioritised for a speedy service. All the staff were very friendly and polite. Its a shame that some people did not appreciate what the staff sacrificed during the flooding to make their stay comfortable. Would definitely eat here again.

Food is very good, both evening meals and the premier breakfast, however service whilst friendly is often very slow even when it is only part full otherwise recommended

We are staying at the Premier in and have had a few meals at Thyme and we can't find fault with anything, food, service and value for money all brilliant. What more more could you ask for.
