Taste At No 1 - Shropshire

This coffee shop is one of the best and my personal favorite to visit. I always choose this as my go-to coffee shop and would definitely recommend it. However, there can be inconsistencies with the coffee quality at times. On Saturdays, the coffee is always excellent and made by a skilled barista. But on Sundays, it can be too milky and disappointing. If the coffee could always be consistently good like on Saturdays, that would be fantastic. The Illy coffee here is outstanding and I enjoy the Taste, but consistency is important.

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. The staff were impolite and unhelpful. They turned customers away, claiming they were too busy even though it was calm and quiet. I had to clean my own table because the person who brought my coffee walked away with the empty tray. The coffee cups had uncomfortable handles that made it difficult to hold without burning my hand. It would have been nice to have some quiet background music to drown out the noise from the coffee making and staff arguing. I will not be returning to this restaurant. It's a shame.

It appears that we must have unintentionally upset the staff member because we experienced incredibly rude service. It was disappointing because the atmosphere was charming and the coffee was good. However, the staff member's behavior was shockingly rude, almost to the point of being comical. It left us feeling unwelcome and unwanted as customers.

Lovely this is now our fav place to come its nice and clean and friendly for a hot chocolate and cake for my daughter and a coffee for me, it would be great if you could offer some toasties, sandwiches too, we love it here my daughter asks to visit every time we come to Ludlow.

I originally wrote a review in December 2016 for this establisment and have visited on a few occassions since Naturally Covid got in the way so haven't been for a while recetly popped in for a coffee and they still stock my favorite brand of coffee and still know how to make it The service was excellent Its a tribute to this establishment that it has stood the test of time and is delivering consitently good coffee with a nice smile and great service. Worth a visit
