Stokesay Inn - Shropshire

A group of stayed for B&B for a week in June. The hotel inn is under new management with new staff etc.All staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made our week’s stay very enjoyable.It is an ideal location for walking the Shropshire Way. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent and packed lunches were available. Nice selection of drinks in bar.Would certainly return.

Stokesay Inn is definitely shabby and not in a good way. Repainting and recarpeting urgently needed; mattress was very saggy. Staff friendly and helpful when asked but the room wasn't serviced daily (not even dirty cups removed . Breakfast was poor limited selection of pre packaged cereals and marmelade, tinned tomatoes (in July! , bacon cooked in very old burned fat.

Amazing food and landlord is very friendly would recommend this place well worth the visit been back 3 times now and have always had a warm friendly welcome

We’ve been a few times over the last couple of months and I cannot express how impressed I’ve been. Good food, good beer and amazing customer service. I am a mother of three and all the staff have made the whole family feel welcome. Colouring books for the children are all added bonuses. Well done guys. Date of visit: December 2020
