We received a warm welcome on arrival and that friendliness extended until we had to leave replete. This venue is modern but encompasses all needs. Clean tastefully decorated warm and comfortable. We had preordered from an excellent menu and the food was delivered promptly efficiently and where appropriate on hot plates. Our meals were plated thoughtfully and proved delicious. The students who provided service were polite,interested. knowledgeable and efficient. They are a credit to their instructors/tutors both chef and customer service and displayed excellent knowledge of the dishes offered. They showed the best of their chosen Calling. I must praise their tutors for the excellence of their tuition and demonstrated patience in providing guidance. Yes I did notice! I come from a hospitality background and appreciate what was achieved. I note that our ‘organiser’ has already booked for 2025 looking forward to that event already. Best wishes to those moving to work I know you have a great foundation. Keep cooking/serving.
I visited Origins with my girlfriend and we were treated to fantastic food and service. Our waiters were polite and attentive with a great attention to detail. It’s clear that they are in a brilliant learning environment to develop their skills. The starter a leek, potato and parmesan soup was rich and comforting. The main aubergine served with a rich, well balanced sauce and an accompaniment of potato and veg was delicious and well cooked. My only criticism is it was a lot of aubergine and could have done with a little extra flavouring in the cooking but was lovely nonetheless. The desert baked custard with a crunchy topping of granola, ginger and gin poached rhubarb was superb smooth, delicate and beautifully flavoured. The Hereford gin was also lovely and well priced. All in all, brilliant value for money and fantastic food and service. Will definitely be back again to try the next menu. Well done all!
I went there for a birthday celebration and it was a true fine dining experience. The lunch menu consisted of three courses and they were all excellent. We were looked after exceptionally well by our waiter Douglas, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a good dining experience. Highly recommended.
