I was in the hotel next door. fighting with the staff, they pushed me into this bar for eating. staff, barman, cook and waiter. they couldn't have invited more than they could. the eating was great as the service was....Although a scandal to watch the barmans who turn off customers because the personal problem was hard to see. I can not recommend this place enough for eating, but please make sure they book. I can only imagine that this place is very busy when at full personal potential. the cook makes a great work and produces some great meals. well done to all involved and I hope honestly that they can sort the workers problems so that they can deliver their full potential to each customer
The Lord ton pub is part of the tonne park hotel complex. my wife and I were in the hotel in september we took breakfast and dinner at the two days we stayed. the breakfast was excellent, a lot of choice, chalk, obst, toast. and a good selection of hot dips. the breakfast was on a self-service basis. the tables for the evening meal had to be pre-ordered. the menu was very limited. this was entirely due to a lack of personal. there is a big problem in recruiting gastfreundschaft staff in the opposite but three employees, koch, barman and waiter did an absolutely first-class work to prepare, present and deliver excellent well presented, delicious meal times. I applaud them for their engagement and engagement that are delivered on professional and cheerful wise. we would not hesitate to return.
In the evening. no amstel had to suffer heineken. the starter was fun on toast. let's just say it's a good job, I wasn't gordon ramsey. gloopy and terrible. my young boy had been dead. it should be a cheerful garlic bread. but it. step a gear with the splashing huh. excellent and saved the day. not busy, but the service was great and eating when the starter was better was a good value.
We booked the previous day for Sunday lunch had been a few times previously meal had been hit and miss. However due to covid there is no Sunday carvery but all plated food. On having our table asked for drinks and placed our...order , and must say that the Beef dinner was excellent- plenty of variety, well cooked and very enjoyable- so much so that we could only share a sweet . Looking around saw that all staff were very covid restriction aware sanitising tables, chairs as well as the laminated menus. We will certainly be returning
