Hong Kong City Express - Shropshire

I have been dining at this restaurant for the past 18 months since it reopened, and I can confidently say that it is the best Chinese restaurant in Shrewsbury. We usually order the same items (chicken fried rice, chicken curry, beef in black sauce, chow mein, and sides) every time, and the food is consistently flawless. We have never encountered greasy or cold dishes, and the flavors are always perfect. I always recommend this restaurant to my family and friends because you simply cannot go wrong with it!

This Chinese restaurant in the West Midlands is absolutely the best. The fillet steak and chicken dishes are exceptional. A definite must-visit!

I wish we hadn't bothered ordering from this restaurant. They charge £4.95 for delivery, which took over an hour to arrive. The prices are much higher than other places, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold. We ordered chicken and beef curry, but there were only 2 pieces of beef in it and the whole dish was tasteless. I do not recommend ordering from here at all.

This was the 2nd time we ordered the first time we waited for a delivery we waited over an hour then we were told ordered cancelled as drivers were ill ? Tonight waited 2hrs for delivery it arrived cold , they exchanged tempura prawns without asking me with 6 disgusting soggy little parcels of mush no idea what they were supposed to be , curry sauce couldn’t be poured it was a solid mass of gloop , chicken and sweet corn soup was thrown away as it was just jelly , chicken wings were uncooked with a bloodied mess on the inside the outside was soggy , all in all it was cold mess of mush and totally inedible nearly £30 down the drain even dog wouldn’t eat it save your money and go elsewhere this place is disgusting over priced slow and inedible

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. we ordered a nice meal for two on 28/12, not long after Christmas. We have always ordered from other Chinese restaurants before but never the less we expected exceptional experience from Hong Kong City. We placed our order and waited almost 2 hours AFTER our expected delivery time before receiving the food. Which in itself is completely disgraceful. Upon the receiving the food.. 3 hours later.. the food was cold and barely edible. So disappointing. We will never be ordering from here again.
