Evergreen Fish - Shropshire

Regrettably, the food was awful. The main dish lacked flavor, the starters were overly fried and extremely dry. We usually soldier on even if the food isn't fantastic, but this time we couldn't even finish it. It was that terrible.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Evergreen today. I felt that the food was not worth the price, as the fish was dry, lacking in flavor, and not coated with enough batter. I was also disappointed that the chips were not cooked separately, which I do not find to be very innovative. Additionally, I did not appreciate witnessing a young girl being scolded in front of customers for a mistake. As someone who visits Ludlow every year from Canada to see family, I have always enjoyed getting fish and chips from Evergreen. However, after this experience, I will no longer be returning, and neither will my family.

The Special Kung Pao dish was just okay, with very small prawns. The Cantonese chicken was made with chicken breast on a bed of bean sprouts, but lacked sauce and flavor. The chilli and salt ribs were spicy, but two out of the five ribs had very little meat. Overall, the experience was disappointing and I do not plan on returning.

Horrendous food poisoning. My friends have been so sick they've had to call 111 . Avoid at all costs this takeaway!

Tried here while staying locally. I had the Kung Po with rice which was excellent and came in superfast time, about 10 minutes. How do they do it?? Partner had their fish and chips, that were OK but the chips were a bit soggy and greasy. Would probably try again and stick to the Chinese menu.
